#1 Two Air Conditioners in main Auditorium
We have two air conditioners that are down at the moment, the main A/C has two motors that keep the unit cool but during our last Typhoon one of the Fan motors were burnt out by the high winds. We halve to currently spray the unit with water during services to keep it going. Replacement of the fan motor itself is around $350 + Labor. The unit is about ten years old and needs to be completely replaced. New they are around $4000-$5000, Used about $2500-$3500. We also have a smaller unit in the Back of the auditorium that has been down for One year same thing happened to it, one of the typhoons blew the blade on it burning up the motor, it’s a smaller unit costing about $300 + Labor $400, it is a newer unit so the motor is the only thing needed to be replaced. Prayer is greatly appreciated in the needs for these Items. It does get very Hot and humid here in Okinawa summers its 100% Humidity and 85 to 95 degrees so it’s very Hot. #2 Replacement of Carpet in Main Auditorium
The main Auditorium needs new Carpet, the Old Carpet is worn and stained and about 4 years old in our church and was picked up used from a base housing unit. Carpet is very Hard to come by here in Okinawa, they don’t have carpet like in the states we could buy it in 2x2 squares, or we have thought about laying Tile, any way we go its expensive. #3 Church Signs outside need updating
This is not so much a necessity, but it is something we need to update. The Church signs need to be updated outside, they are white background that looks dingy, and they are hard to notice because of the coloration, I have had several visitors tell me they drove right by it and didn’t see it, In Okinawa they have signs everywhere for everything and it’s easy to see those rather than the church signs. Not too sure of the Cost have not done much looking around to get an estement, but it shouldn’t be that expensive. Less than a thousand. If the Lord Lays on your heart to give we would be greatly thankful.
